Signed F. Brinicardi, a well documented pseudonym for the famous artist, Niels Walseth (1914-2001), was literally born to be an artist, as both parents were artists. This beautiful piece appears to have been painted around the 1940's. Walseth traveled to many countries to paint the local scenery and hold exhibitions. His works have been sold in major auction houses around the world, including Sothebys, London.
